Hello scouts, This month we have an additional service project - Operation Christmas Project - put on by some of our AOL scouts. These projects will be due at our next Pack meeting on Tuesday Nov 16th.
The video Max made above, has great information and videos explaining the program on the website. AOL scouts have a requirement to lead a service project and this is the project that Max has chosen. Please support his project, Operation Christmas Project, and our AOL scouts by participating in this great program.
==== Operation Christmas Child
1. Start with an average-size cardboard or plastic shoebox. If you want to wrap it, cover the box and lid separately.
3. Select a medium to large "wow" item such as a soccer ball with pump or stuffed animal, then fill with other fun toys, hygiene items, and school supplies. Don’t forget to also include a personal note and photo—sometimes these are the child's favorite things to receive!
4. A donation of $9 per box is critical to cover shipping and other project costs. For easiest processing, you can give online through our Label Options. You can Follow Your Box and discover the destination of your gift.
